Last Picture She Took Of Me

Mom came to the conclusion that she could not take care of me.  With my medical problem (heartworms). vaccinations, grooming, etc.,  and her age, she thought it best to get in touch with the Rescue Revolution of Mississippi to take me and give me a good home and have them pay for my bills.

Because of the uncertain times, some people are having to make the heartbreaking decision to give up their pets.
FOSTER FOUND!! 🐾
😔 This is Camp. He is a loving 6 yr old Lhasa mix who has found himself in need of a committed foster home. He is heartworm positive, unfortunately. That means it will be about 8 weeks or so, until he is clear. If Camp's situation becomes a foster to adopt, that would be great, too.
To treat Camp, it will cost us about $350, plus a month of doxycycline & his care during this time.
We know it's not a sad picture of Camp. He appears healthy, but in reality, e has one of the greatest death sentences for Southern pups who are not given heartworm prevention.
Please help us get Camp healthy & into a forever home. This little boy deserves it!
If you are able to donate $10, that will help and we will be so grateful, so will Camp.
You can make a tax-deductible donation through this Facebook post

Thank you so much for contributing to sweet Camp's medical bills, so he can be on the road to recovery. (Jackson/Madison, MS)

Found myself a foster home in hopes of being adopted.

My Toys & Food Mat

Mom got me a food mat for my water, wet and dry food.

You can see my bed, (MS State pillow) must be under the blanket and my ball.

She got me a nice rope.. but I was not interested in it at all.

Things Are Getting Better

It looks like things are getting better for both of us.  I'm not snapping and growing anymore at her.  I love for her to pet me.  She went to the store and got me a ball and a toy to play with.  Also, a mat for my food to sit on and it has dog paws on it.  Oh, forgot about the brush, and have been brushing my coat.  I just love it!  Everything is going to be alright.

Scared Of Van

I got to go riding today in Gran Gran's van to go and walk at a park but I acted out and would not get out of the van.  So she brought me back to the apartment.  I was growling at her and she went and got my blanket and threw it over me to get me out of the van.  I was scared and I don't like to be hooked up but I have to because I'm living in the city limits in an apartment building and there is a leash law.

My Name Is Camp

My name is "Camp" and was named by my first Mama (Kathy) who came and got me in Pearl Mississippi last February from Magee, MS.  I was found at a deer camp on Hwy 3 north of Vicksburg, MS, near the Internation Paper Company.  She did not know my name but called me, Camp.

Yesterday, I was brought by Kathy and her sister, Teri  (she will be working at a new job in Asheville, North Carolina), and left me with her Mom (Gran Gran).  So I'm staying with her for now in Vicksburg, MS.  All this is new for both of us.  Hopefully, we all will get along and she will take me to the Dr. next week to get my shots.
